TSM Transformer
Tursam Holding has made a new investment initiative in 2023 by including transformer production among its business lines. Following this decision, Tursam Trafo (TSM Transformer) was established in 2023 in Sakarya Hendek Organized Industrial Zone with 100% domestic capital. The modern transformer production facility is built on 5000 m² of covered area and 3000 m² of open area and will complete its 3-year production process in this area. It will then continue to operate as a transformer production center in the newly acquired 30-acre expansion area, where infrastructure work has been completed.
The company’s activities will include development, design, production, and services.

Tursam Trafo manufactures distribution transformers, power transformers, and special-purpose transformers for companies serving many sectors, such as electricity utilities, steel producers, oil and gas companies, and solar and wind energy projects.
The facility utilizes advanced transformer/reactor production technologies based on the know-how we have acquired from the largest German transformer manufacturers. In addition, coil winding and foil machines are manufactured based on these technologies.
Tursam Trafo is a growing company with approximately 15 qualified employees, planning to establish a staff of approximately 100 by the end of 2025.
Our company, which started in 2004 with “pole design and manufacturing” for the energy and lighting sectors, acquired the galvanizing plant of the German Galvanizing Company WIEGEL in Hendek in 2012. With this investment, it incorporated the “Hot Dip Galvanizing” process, an integral part of steel manufacturing, into its operations, strengthening its position in the sector. Today, it is one of Turkey’s leading companies with a significant galvanizing furnace.
Tursam has a facility with 18,000 m² of covered space and a total area of 50,000 m², a workforce of 550 people, and an annual capacity of 95,000 tons of galvanizing, 25,000 tons of steel construction, 6,000 tons of rail vehicle parts and components, 30,000 tons of power transmission lines, and 60,000 tons of solar energy system mechanical components.
